In appreciation...$50 give-away to my shop

Thanks to Heather and Meg, I had a slew of orders last week from my new etsy shop.  I was humbled and honored and so pleased...If you ordered something or even just came by to visit, Thank you.

I went to the post office yesterday with a stack of orders to send out.  I have to tell you what an exhilarating feeling it was to send them all out.  Afterwards, with the 25% proceeds, I was able to go buy 10 giftcards for CBC Seminole , a local foster and adoption center.  It was a good, warm, feeling.

In appreciation, I want to do a $50 gift certificate to in His grace.

There are two ways to enter:
1.  Leave me a comment with your favorite scripture, or one that is really resonating with you right now.
2.  Become a follower, or let me know you already are one.

The winner will pick $50 worth of artwork!  Yay!
I'll pick a winner first thing Friday morning.

Have a wonderful day!
:)
xo,
Chrissie

  1. My favorite scripture right now is 1 Peter 4:10, about using your gifts to serve others. This is my daily reminder to do God's will and serve His people with what I've been given, which I'm using every day right now as I try to raise money for an orphange in Africa.

  3. Proverbs 31:30 has been popping up for me a lot lately. I'm the stay at home mom of a toddler and wife to a seminary student and I need daily reminders to keep my focus on living for God and not just barreling through the craziness.

  14. I'd love to be entered in the giveaway - I've got my eye on that bible bag for a friend.
There isn't a particular scripture that is resonating, yesterday I was led to the parable of the paralyzed man being lowered through the ceiling by his friends, looking at it with fresh eyes to see the bondage that keeps us paralyzed and how important the prayers of friends and loved ones are when we are unable to come to Him alone~

  15. One of my favorites will always be found in Matthew- reminding us to find Peace through our Savior- not peace the world offers; the Peace that only He can give. That one will always be my dear one :)

  16. Philippians 4:4-7
4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

My husband and I have been going through a very private hard struggle for over a year. I hold these verses tight in my arms.

  17. It's not a Scripture verse, but a quote from Hafiz:

    "Habits are human nature--
Why not create some that will mint Gold?"

  20. The scripture that keeps me going even in my times of doubt and frustration is Phillipians 4:19 "And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Only I personalise it and sing out loud "And my God will supply all MY needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

  38. A great reminder of who God is even when we feel far from him:
    Isaiah 54:4-6
“Do not be afraid; you will not be put to shame.
Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated.
You will forget the shame of your youth
and remember no more the reproach of your widowhood.
For your Maker is your husband—
the LORD Almighty is his name—
    the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer;
he is called the God of all the earth.
