Don't call me...

Beloved and constant companion.
He's been bumped and bruised, scratched and fractured.
But today he drowned in our pool.
Some days I don't know if I should laugh or cry...

P.S. Does anyone know how to make $300 in 24 hours or less?

NO WAIT!

All is NOT lost!

What you need to do is put your phone in a tupperware filled with uncooked RICE.

Leave it there (preferably near a window, too) for a MINIMUM of 3 days. It helps if you can open the place where you put the battery too .
The rice will absorb all the moisture eventually. Since it's just water (meaning, not juice or anuthing, so it's not sticky!), it *should* dry "ok".

I had put my kids' gameboy in the washing machine (it was in my dd's pockets!) and posted about it as my status on facebook. A girl who works for apple says that this is what they recommend when people do this (or drop in the toilet!) to their ipods!

So, should work for your iphone, right?!!

Try it, and let me know!

Oh no!! I hope the commentor ahead of me can fix your phone. Sounds too good to be true though!

Oh no! I must admit I did laugh at that photo. Try the rice. It might work. Let us know if it does. It can't hurt and you might save $300.00.

I was going to suggest rice too. My DD dropped her phone in the sink, we put it in rice for a few days and then all was well in the world, other than her mad withdrawal from texting. Hope your phone gets reincarnated

My husband FELL into our pool and his phone was fine. That was pre iPhone though. I hope yours will be ok!

hope you can fix it, but in the mean time, if you find out how to make $300 in what's left of the day...let me know! ;)
