A tutorial, a giveaway, and some needed feedback

Number 1 on my agenda today:
Remember this dress? I showed you how to make one. I thought I'd show you how I made a super-cute bow to go with it.

Number 2 on my agenda:
A giveaway! This is my 50th blog post and I just happened to make an extra cupcake bow. Do you want to win it?
There are two ways to win:
Either leave me a comment telling me you're already a follower, or become a follower and leave me a comment letting me know.

Okay, number three on my agenda. I need some feedback/advice. I'd like to list some of these combo's in my etsy shop. A custom made dress or t-shirt with a matching bow. It could be a cupcake, a butterfly, a heart, a number (for birthdays)...it could be anything you wanted.
Do you think they would sell? After all, I have told you EXACTLY how to make them. You could make them yourself, right? But maybe some of you don't want to make them and would rather buy a set from my etsy shop?:)
Be honest, but be kind. I am trying to boost my etsy sales and I'd like to offer some new items.
All right, start commenting, and maybe the winner will get an extra surprize too...
xo,
Chrissie

I haven't had much experince with etsy, so I can't really give you any advice about that.

But, thank you so much for showing me how to make the polymer clay design. I love those and I think a small design would make great buttons, I've just never learned how to do anything with polymer clay!

And as for the giveaway, I've been following along since we SWAPPED back in December.

Happy Thursday!

Sweetie- I LOVE your art and truly would love to do a swap with you! (E-mail me when you get a minute- toosillysisters@cox.net) I am also a follower! Yippee! I truly think you should sell these darling dresses and bows in your shop. They are PRECIOUS! How about a little birdie or a lollipop? I think those would be really popular. Thanks for the fabulous giveaway!!

OMG....i think these would absolutely sell! You could have the ribbons predone but then buyers could decide which clay accent they wanted and you could paint and customize according to that selection! What about seasonal ones too - hearts, xmas themed, four-leaf clover, halloween, etc!

LOVE it! I just stumbled upon your blog a few weeks ago and LOVE it! I would love to win this for my goddaughter!

Great ideas from the comments above! I think the dress is adorable, bow too- my girl is just too big for either. Good luck!

p.s. don't give away all your good ideas!

I definitely think those would be great in your etsy shop. That dress is so cute. The bow is cute too- maybe offer the option of getting them in two's. My little girl always wears 2 pigtails- one bow doesn't work well for her hair.

You are so super creative! LOVE the idea of the combo. I would buy it in a heartbeat because as much as I love your tutorials, I'm not motivated enough to make my own.
I know the numbers on little shirts is so in around here. Moms, me included, buy them for girls on their birthdays and then have them wear it until they turn the next year (not everyday, of course....you know what I mean!). So I think you would do quite well, esp. if you advertise, advertise on your blog. Maybe even a little hairpiece with a clay number? See what happens!

I think it's a great idea, how about make a listing for just a dress, just a bow and then offer a combo, it'll only be 60 cents, that way you can see what buyers prefer.

Wow...your stuff is adorable! you should absolutely list all of it in your etsy store. The fact of the matter is, some people just want to buy cute stuff already made. There are plenty of people who don't want the hassle of making it themselves, no matter how easy. I think it's great that you tell people how to make these lovely creations, but you should give those uncrafty people the chance to take the easy road and pay you to do it for them! Good luck!
