Red and Aqua

After this post, I learned from you guys that aqua is a lighter version of turquoise.
I love this color combo, and I made my deadline! This is my first online quilting bee, and after sending out 100 blocks, I will soon receive 100 back. I can't wait to see what they look, and assemble the quilt top.
After spending so much time on my machine, I have to say I can't believe people actually handstitch some quilts. It would probably take me two years to finish one!
This is the second quilt I'm making for Christmas presents. I actually almost finished another one today. I'll be back soon to show you...:)
Till then~
xoxo

Wow~you sure have done a lot. I am so afraid to quilt. I think I am going to make a big mistake and ruin it all. It is something I have wanted to try for a long time.

I love red and aqua - since you're a young mom, have you ever noticed how many Fisher Price toys are red and aqua?

your quilt squares are really pretty.

I love the color combination. It will be interesting to see what color combos you get back. Whatever you get the quilt it creates will certainly tell a story.

I'm not sure how you were able to make yourself send out those blocks, lol. I LOVE the colors you picked... I would have had to keep them. ;)
