Valentines Day Shirt

This post is really about making a quick Valentine's Day shirt, but I'm slightly distracted.
I went to picnik.com to quickly edit these, and found a wrinkle eraser button.  36 years of crows feet gone in a second.  I think it will be my new best friend!  Yes, I know a little make-up in real life would help, but who has time for that?  ;)
Anyhoo, this is a very quick project.  I cut a piece of red fabric out, laid a doily on it, and spray painted over the doily white.  (I had to jump on the doily bandwagon somehow!)
After it dried, I ironed it to a piece of Heat n Bond and cut it out in the shape of a heart.  After ironing it on to an old white t-shirt, I sewed the edges with a simple straight stitch.
Then I let Ava use my fancy camera and became the "best Mommy in the whole world".  Quite an accomplishment for one day.
Have a blessed weekend friends.
We've got some valentines to make...:)
xo,
Chrissie
