Etsy update

Good morning and Happy Monday!

I have a little etsy update to share with you.

First up is this new pillow I designed...It measures 12 x 16 just like my custom name pillows and will come with the pillow form.  You can purchase them here.  :)

I've had so many requests for 11 x 14 prints that I finally got smart and added them to the shop.  You can find the listing here, and just leave me a comment with what print you'd like.

And I'm working on a batch of my mixed -media houses, made from wood, paint, papers, etc.   I'll let you know when they are complete.

Switched from cows milk two months ago and have avoided 1,000 upset stomaches since.

Grocery store sushi.  It was still good.

Started out the summer running 4 miles straight.  Last week this was all I could do.  Time to start running again.

Family Beach photos

We were at the beach for a whole month and I waited until the night before we left to get our annual beach family photos.I was kind of bummed because my step-son couldn't make it.  I was kind of bummed because I had just gotten a bad haircut.  I was a super grumpy photographer and I yelled at my kids one million times.  :(

I probably took 200 photos and this is what I came up with.  It's super hard to get a good shot of all four kids at the same time. 

But look, they are adorable!  This picture will represent to me a wonderful summer full of beautiful memories.  I am so grateful that I have it.

And now, we are back home and trying to get back into a routine.  Eleven more days until school starts!

How did it happen so fast?

We are getting back to school haircuts today and school shoes, and then hopefully tackling one of the things on our summer list (the kids are begging for a Krispy Kreme pj run)

Going back to school is always bittersweet for me.  I love the excitement of the new year.  Finding out who their teachers are, getting back into a schedule, starting extracurriculers again.  As a kid one of my favorite memories was buying fresh school supplies.  There is nothing better than a new pad of paper and new markers!  :)

But I am a little sad to see them go again.  My baby is going into Pre-K and I am entering a new phase in my life.  No more babies :(

I love painting women and for some reason I got away from it a couple of years ago.

Recently I was inspired to create some larger original paintings, and I am calling them the "Women of God" series.

I have been praying for months for fresh inspiration, and I felt blessed and happy when I started painting again.

Sorry for disappearing like that!  We are on our yearly vacation at the beach and I've been having too much fun to blog.
We are surfing, paddle-boarding, boogie-boarding, building castles, and basically we have just become a lump of beach bums!  :)
